Becoming a Member
We are actively seeking new members for our club. If you have spare time and want to join a club that offers an opportunity to serve your community, please contact us to find out more.
We, The Kiwanis Club of Langley District 100, would like to extend a warm welcome to you and thank you for taking time out of your busy schedule to visit our website.
The Langley 100 Club has something special to offer...Associate Membership! The primary goal of our club is to add value to the community through service to those around us. With this goal in mind, we'd like to invite you to be a member of our local club. Below is a list of what the two types of membership we have to offer.
Full Member of Kiwanis International:
- Must pay KI, District and club membership fees annually, currently $150.00 per year
- May hold club officer (President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary) and / or director positions, if elected
- May chair a regular or special club committee (Community Service, House, Program, Project, Membership, Nominating)
- May attend and participate in any regular meeting
- May attend and participate in director's meetings
- May be a committee member
- May volunteer at all fund raising events and community service projects
- Eligible to vote at the Annual General Meeting
Associate Member of the Langley 100 Club:
- Receive a Club Membership package that includes general information about Kiwanis International, PNW District and specific information about our club
- Kiwanis International Membership is optional
- Nominal Membership fee $35.00 per year (this goes into our administration account, should you decide to become a Member of KI during the year this money will be applied to that membership fee)
- May attend and participate in any regular meeting
- May be a committee member
- May volunteer at all fund raising events and community service projects
- Eligible to vote at the Annual General Meeting
We try to meet the needs of everyone in our club and because of this we allow a time in our meeting for those who come directly from work to have dinner. Please do not feel that you have to order dinner...if you choose to eat before you come to the meeting, no problem...come for the fellowship!
We welcome new members and offer them good fellowship and the opportunity for meaningful service.
